What We Do

JobReady works through three interconnected streams — convening, training, and advocacy. Together they form a pipeline: we identify the problem publicly, build the conversation around it, and then train the specific people the market needs.

Stream 1

Skills Gap events and convenings

We design and host annual events that bring Ghana’s workforce problem into the open — with the people who can actually do something about it in the room. Our events are not panels for the sake of panels. They are structured conversations with clear outcomes: pledges from employers, commitments from institutions, and actionable next steps for young people.

Our 2026 calendar includes a Skills Gap Fireside Chat, a Tech Career Exposé, a Tech Career Day, and two fundraising events that also serve as community building occasions. All events are hosted at the Nyansa Square campus.

Stream 2

Green Technician Training

Our first formal training programme launches in 2026 — a competitive, cohort-based programme training young Ghanaian graduates as solar PV and EV maintenance technicians.

Ghana is installing solar systems it cannot maintain and importing EVs it cannot service. We are training the people who will fix that. The programme is based at the Nyansa Tech Hub and will run on the campus solar installation as a live training asset.

Stream 3

Research and Advocacy

The JobReady Institute maintains an active research interest in Ghana’s graduate employability landscape. Our forthcoming publication — the JobReady book — examines the structural causes of the skills gap and offers a practical framework for institutions, employers, and policymakers.

  1. We also produce resources, commentary, and event content that keeps the conversation alive between our flagship annual events.

Affiliated HUB

The Nyansa Tech Hub

The Nyansa Tech Hub is an initiative of The Nefertiti Project housed at the Nyansa Square campus. The Hub runs coding programmes, robotics sessions, and STEM career engagements for students, educators, and young professionals. It is the training home of the green technician programme and a partner space for JobReady’s career events.

    Resident Program

    Kidtronic Labs

Kidtronic Labs is on a mission to ignite curiosity, creativity, and innovation in young learners through dynamic, hands-on STEM education. Our programs are designed to empower K–12 students with future-ready skills in robotics, coding, AI, and engineering, delivered in fun, engaging ways that nurture lifelong learning.

Kidtronic combines creativity with technology to build the next generation of inventors, critical thinkers, and leaders in a tech-driven world. Offers In-school and after-school, as well as a weekend program on-site at Nyansa Square in East Legon.
